Nice quiet park.
Natural park on lake side.
Spacious parking lot and public restrooms available with water fountain. Highly recommended if you're looking for a fun activity. No pets allowed however! Boo!
Nature and history.
The other house is down by the lake(Chickee sign), with a short walk it can be seen and has a sign asking not to disturb the residents. Which I chose not to do and just enjoyed the view. :)
The old cracker house is one you can enter anytime during hours and has some historic info about the area. The rocking chair on the porch is a nice touch and I helped myself to some rocking time lol.
Very peaceful setting with a few scenic nature trails. 2 historic houses sit on the property.
I'd been living in Leesburg for a few years and never knew this place was here. Very interesting history of Leesburg. Peaceful nature trails. Everything seems well preserved and kept.
